Preventive raid in district Muktsar

On 06-03-2023, a raid was conducted by EI Sh. Gurbinder Singh, EI Sh. Nachhattar Singh alongwith Excise Police at village Kattianwali canal, District Shri Muktsar Sahib and recovered one iron drum and 09 Tarpaulins containing approximately 3600 ltr. lahan which was destroyed on the spot.

Preventive raid in district Ferozepur

On 07-03-2023, in drive against the illicit distillation of liquor in Punjab carried-out under the able guidance of Excise commissioner Punjab Sh. Varun Roojam, IAS, and directions of DC(X) Ferozepur Zone, AC(X) Ferozpur Range and EO Ferozpur a raid was conducted by EI Sh. Inderpal Singh along with Excise Police in Ferozepur at Chakr da baira, Satluj River. During the raid 06 Plastic terpualins � litre Lahan), 01 Rubber tubes 鳖 bottles illicit liquor), 19 Pepsi bottles ࿙ bottle illicit liquor) total 207 bottles of illicit liquor and 07 Iron drum were recovered. Lahan and illicit liquor was destroyed on the dry spot.

Preventive raid in district Tarn Taran

On 08-03-2023, under the able directions of DC(X) Jalandhar Zone and AC(X) Amritsar Range, a search operation was conducted under the supervision of ETI Sh. Jagdeep Kaur alongwith Excise Police Tarn Taran at the village Shakri, district Tarn Taran during this search operation entire stretch of mand area. During search operation following recoveries were made: - Ƒ) 14500 ltrs Lahan. ƒ) 08 Tirpals Ɠ) 06 plastic drum Ɣ) 03 cans of Lahan which were destroyed on the spot being unclaimed.

Preventive raid in district Amritsar-2

On 22-03-2023, a raid was conducted by EI Smt. Rajwinder circle Ajnala with Excise team Amritsar-2. During raid 20 bottles � ml) of illicit liquor were recovered from accused Angrej Singh s/o Tarlok Singh VPO Rampura. Accused was arrested. FIR No 36 dated 22-03-2023 has been registered in PS Kambo. ƒ) During another checking 34 bottles � ml) of illicit liquor were recovered from accused Ajit Singh s/o Fauja Singh VPO Kotli Sakka. Accused was arrested and FIR No 23 dated 22-03-2023 has been registered in PS Rajasansi.

Preventive raid in district Ludhiana West A

On 27-03-2023, under the able directions of Sh. Surinder Kumar Garg DC (X) Patiala Div. Paiala, Sh. Raju Dhamija AC(X) Range West Ludhiana, EO West-A & B to curb illegal distillation on Satluj river banks areas near village Hujra Ludhiana a search operation was carried out by EIs Sh. Karamjit Singh Cheema, Sh. Hardip Singh Bains and Sh. Rajan Sehgal alongwith Excise Police Ludhiana and supporting staff. During the search following items were recovered:- Ƒ) Approximately 4000 litres lahan containing in plastic tirpauls/diggies which was destroyed being unclaimed. ƒ) 03-iron drums and plastic pipes were also detained.
