Preventive raid in district Hoshiarpur-1
On 28-03-2023, as per direction of Sh. Paramjit Singh, DC (X) Jallandhar Zone & Sh Sanjeev Madaan, AC (X) Hoshiarpur Range and under the guidance of Sh. Shekhar EO a team comprising of Smt. Manjit Kaur, Sh Mohinder Singh ETIs and Excise Police Hoshiarpur a search operation in the mand area of Abdulapur, Thali, Miami circle Tanda. During the search operation 15 tarpals containing approximately 12700 liter lahan, 02 furnace boiler, one plastic cane and other materials were recovered. Lahan was destroyed on the spot being unclaimed.

Preventive raid in district Ludhiana West A
On 27-03-2023, under the able directions of Sh. Surinder Kumar Garg DC (X) Patiala Div. Paiala, Sh. Raju Dhamija AC(X) Range West Ludhiana, EO West-A & B to curb illegal distillation on Satluj river banks areas near village Hujra Ludhiana a search operation was carried out by EIs Sh. Karamjit Singh Cheema, Sh. Hardip Singh Bains and Sh. Rajan Sehgal alongwith Excise Police Ludhiana and supporting staff. During the search following items were recovered:- Ƒ) Approximately 4000 litres lahan containing in plastic tirpauls/diggies which was destroyed being unclaimed. ƒ) 03-iron drums and plastic pipes were also detained.

Preventive raid in district Mohali
On 25-03-2023, on secret information a joint naka was imposed by EI Kharar Sh Sandeep Shahi along with PS Balongi Police Staff near Jhujar Nagar-Maloa road and intercepted a white swift bearing no. PB19-V-1239 and recovered 50 cases 麘 bottles of 111 ACE WHISKY 750 ML) for sale in Chandigarh. Accused fled away from the spot. FIR no. 43 dated 25-03-2023 has been registered under u/s 61-1-14, 78ƒ) against unknown person at PS Balongi.

Preventive raid in district Amritsar-2
On 22-03-2023, a raid was conducted by EI Smt. Rajwinder circle Ajnala with Excise team Amritsar-2. During raid 20 bottles � ml) of illicit liquor were recovered from accused Angrej Singh s/o Tarlok Singh VPO Rampura. Accused was arrested. FIR No 36 dated 22-03-2023 has been registered in PS Kambo. ƒ) During another checking 34 bottles � ml) of illicit liquor were recovered from accused Ajit Singh s/o Fauja Singh VPO Kotli Sakka. Accused was arrested and FIR No 23 dated 22-03-2023 has been registered in PS Rajasansi.

Preventive raid in district Ludhiana west A
On 16-03-2023, on directions of Sh. S.K Garg DC (X), Patiala Zone Patiala, Sh. Raju Dhamija AC (X) Ludhiana West Range. Two raids were conducted at Satluj river bank by EIs Sh. Karamjit Singh Cheema, Sh. Hardeep Singh Bains and Sh. Rajan Sehgal along with Excise Police and supporting staff. During raid following recoveries were made: - During first raid was conducted at near village Parjian searched and recovered approximately 5000 ltrs Lahan containing in big tirpauls/doggies ƒ) 04-iron drums Ɠ) 07 Jaggery bags (each 40 kgs.). Second raid was conducted at near village Kul Gehina and approximately 4300 ltrs Lahan containing in big tirpauls/doggies which was destroyed being unclaimed), 01-iron drum, 06-plastic drums and approximately 100 bottles illicit liquor were also recovered.
